Task 15 - Conventions of a Garage music video

From studying garage music videos i have gathered that they generally contain:

- Lip syncing

- Long shots of dancers

- Low key lighting

- A variety of clothings

- Montage editing

- Cuts mainly on the beat

- A wide selection of camera shots

- Close ups to show the artists

- A Story with no meaning being shown.

- Video does not represent lyrics

    You could take screen grabs from a range of music videos from within this genre to demonstrate 3-4 of the key conventions.

    Good to see that you have come back to this Wesley to make the post more visual. I would suggest that you annotate each screen grab to explain how they show the conventions - this will help you demonstrate your kowledge.
